Tattoos are art, they are meant to be seen. If they weren’t, no one would get them. If you want a tattoo no one is going to see, DON’T GET A FUCKING TATTOO, just say “life gets better.” to yourself everyday rather than getting it in some shitty script font on your armpit.

You can get tattoos to be seen just the same as someone else can get a tattoo that they want for themselves. It’s all personal preference, no one is the same and therefor the reasons that someone has for getting a tattoo will differ, as well. 

My dad is covered with tattoos but you can barely see some of them. He has a gigantic piece on his back that no one sees. He also has quite a few visible ones. His reasons are his own, just like yours are your own. Just like mine are my own. It varies from person to person.

Also, I’m sorry.. but saying people who’s tattoos aren’t going to be on display for the world to see shouldn’t get tattoos at all.. is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
